Two Little Beans & Co: Striving for Sustainability

At Two Little Beans & Co, we are committed to making a positive impact on the planet through our sustainable practices. While we have been rated “Not Good Enough” in terms of our environmental policies, we acknowledge the areas where we can improve and are continuously working towards a greener future.

Environmental Policies

One of the factors influencing our environmental rating is the materials we use. We are proud to say that we make use of lower-impact materials, such as organic cotton, in our production process. Through this conscious choice, we aim to reduce the carbon emissions associated with traditional materials.

However, there is no evidence to suggest that we are actively minimizing textile waste in our supply chain. We understand the importance of reducing waste and are exploring new ways to manage and reduce textile waste throughout our production process.

Another area where we need improvement is in reducing or eliminating hazardous chemicals in our manufacturing process. While there is no evidence to suggest that we are currently taking meaningful action in this regard, we recognize the significance of this issue and are committed to finding sustainable alternatives and practices that ensure the well-being of both the planet and our customers.

Furthermore, we understand that packaging is a significant driver of plastic waste. Although there is no evidence to suggest that we are currently taking action to minimize our packaging, this is an area we are actively addressing. We are exploring eco-friendly packaging options that can help reduce our environmental footprint.

Workers’ Rights

At Two Little Beans & Co, we believe in the importance of protecting workers’ rights and ensuring a fair and just working environment for all. While we have been rated “It’s a Start” in terms of our people rating, we understand that there is room for improvement in this area.

We take pride in the fact that our products are made in-house by the owner. This allows us to maintain a hands-on approach and ensures that our workers are treated fairly and ethically.

Additionally, we partly trace our supply chain, allowing us to have greater visibility into the working conditions and practices of our suppliers. However, there is no evidence to suggest that we ensure workers are paid living wages in our supply chain. We recognize this as an important issue and are working towards implementing fair wage policies to ensure the well-being of our workers.

Animal Welfare

As a brand, we are committed to animal welfare and ensuring that our products are cruelty-free. While we have received a “Good” rating in this aspect, it is important to note that we do not claim to be a vegan brand.

We do not use animal-derived materials in our products, but we continue to explore ways to improve our practices and ensure that we align with the highest ethical standards when it comes to animal welfare.

Overall Sustainability Rating

Based on all publicly available information, we have been rated “It’s a Start” overall. We acknowledge the areas where we can improve and are dedicated to making a positive impact on the planet, workers’ rights, and animal welfare.

At Two Little Beans & Co, we believe that sustainability is a journey, and we are committed to continuously evolving and finding innovative solutions to minimize our environmental impact and create a better future for all.
